G.A.M.E. Conference

For the G.A.M.E. Conference at Grand Canyon University, celebrating the launch of its new video game major, I created a cohesive visual identity that included the conference logo, lanyards, name tags, and presentation thumbnails. The design balanced gaming culture with the university's established brand standards.

The primary challenge was capturing the energy of the gaming industry while adhering to institutional branding guidelines, ensuring consistency across print and digital materials.

These logo concepts for the G.A.M.E. Conference blend retro gaming aesthetics with modern event branding. The pixel-style typography and star icon reference classic arcade and video game visuals, helping capture the spirit of gaming culture while keeping the design bold and recognizable. I explored variations in color and composition to create a mark that feels energetic, playful, and fitting for the launch of Grand Canyon University's new video game major.

For the G.A.M.E. Conference, I designed a series of name tag concepts that carried the retro gaming theme throughout the event. Each badge explores a different layout and color palette inspired by classic arcade aesthetics, while keeping the attendee's name bold and easy to read. The designs range from pixel-patterned backgrounds to Game Boy-inspired shapes, giving each concept its own personality while staying true to the overall brand identity.
